The low temperature (Т=2К) spectra of specular reflection of light from CdS crystals covered with Langmuir-Blodgett films containing the different number of organic monolayers have been studied. The influence of the film thickness on resonant exсitonic spectra was analysed for the case of oblique incidence of light. The effect of a strong near-surface localization of the exciton polarization is found to occur in the vicinity of the frequency 2548.2 meV, which is indicative of direct impact of the film upon the exciton wave function structure near the interface
