In given article in the spotlight there is an original composition of Uzbek composer М. Bafoyev - "Tagor's dedication" considering in the context of monodic thinking. In work they are formulated place and the value of the composer, leading the tendencies of his creativity, as well as by the example of elected opus specific features of musical language based on the principle of generality of two monodic musical cultures - Uzbek and Indian are revealed.
