By the reaction of 1-aminoanthaquinone and 2-aminoanthraquinone with phenylisothiocyanate, halogen-, nitrobenzoylisothiocyanates in dimethylformamide by heating at 90 ˚C for 5 hours, the corresponding derivatives – 1,3 substituted thioureas were obtained. The dyeing properties of synthesized compounds were studied. The property of the dye in 1-(1-anthraquinonyl)-3-(para-chlorobenzoyl) thiourea has been revealed and this compound is used as a dye of rubber compounds, paraffin candles and polyethylene films.
