Abstract
The article describes the notions of ―spiritual life‖ and ―social environment‖. It discusses the types of spiritual environments - the peculiarities of the real and virtual environments, their differences, and their importance in human and social life. It is noted that in the context of modern information and communication technologies, the spiritual environment is becoming more complex and, accordingly, its impact on the development of human consciousness and society is becoming more diverse.
